Fullstack Developer
Hello, everybody, my name is Kaloyan Yosifov and I am a Fullstack developer at Scayle.
At my free time, I am learning something new every day and enjoying the process of opening myself to new opportunities. Sometimes I start small projects and apps to test an Idea, a programming language or for improving my skills. Check them out at GitHub.
I've been programming for almost 10 years now and still loving it! Something about creating an app, website or a game is extraordinary.
Currently I am enjoying the process of learning more about Cryptography, Security and Privacy. I am also tickling my curiosity in the blockchain space.
What I love
WordPress
When I first encounter with WordPress thought it was horrible, but after some practices could say I am good at it.
Vim/NeoVim
I can't overstate how important are Vim motions and the Vim editor itself. I would suggest any programmer to use this amazing tool for editing.
Kubernetes
I love how simple it is to maintain the infrastructure for applications and how easy it is to scale. Having deep knowledge both on how k8s and what it does is essential for DevOps.
Amazon Web Services
Have some great experience with Amazon Web Services(AWS). Sometimes overcoming amazon's overwhelming dashboard, but still a great Kickstarter for web apps. Continuing on studying the cloud and becoming more efficient at working on it.
Bash/ZSH
Bash/ZSH is a really powerful tool that every programmer needs to learn. Personally use in most projects for automation.
Cordova
Cordova is great for building apps if you are on a rush. Has some clashes with memory leaks, but eventually got good at it to minimize them.
Haskell
Wanted to try out a FP language and I am really curious and willing to learn this shift. I find it interesting and it satisfies my explorer personality!!!
Laravel
Working with Laravel for almost a two years now, and I am really fascinated by its structure. It is the main PHP framework we us in work, and it is really enjoyable working with it. I am working on big projects with it and wouldn't recommend anything else, except Symfony.
Linux
Personally, I really like Linux. Customizable and has great tools to rely on ;).
Plutus
New to the cardano smart contract development, but quickly getting the hang of it. I am really interested in building apps for the Cardano ecosystem.
React
I was working on React, before Vue, for three months and all I can say It's great for building big applications and I am confident in using it with Redux!
Rust
New to rust, but beginning to like the language. I was not knew to the low level stuff as I have programmed on C and C++. But I must say that Rust's borrow checker is tough to fight with, but a powerful weapon.
Solidity
I have developed DAO and NFT smart contracts for the Ethereum ecosystem. It is a really interesting piece of art how everything works!
React Native
Worked on a little pet project for chat and gained a lot of experience working on it. I learned more about sockets with the project and more about React Native itself. Would prefer React Native than Cordova.
Typescript
Love it!!!! There is nothing more I can say. I use it in most projects. Prefer it over JS if the project is going to be big. Love the compiler notifying me when I misspell a variable 😬
Vue
Started my first big project with Vue and can tell it has great benefits over some other frameworks. Incredibly simple use with Vuex!
